Tlaxcaltecan Indians
who came to Santa Fe with the
Spanish Conquistadors and helped
construct San Miguel Mission.
Simple Elegance
The Alter at San Miguel
Home of the 'Miraculous Spiral Staircase', is an exquisite example of Gothic Architecture.

On the right, is a photo of a sign in the Chapel that is a simulation of what the staircase was thought to look like prior to the handrails being installed.
