Loretto Chapel
Home of the 'Miraculous Spiral Staircase', is an exquisite example of Gothic Architecture.

On the left is a contemporary photo.

On the right, is a photo of a sign in the Chapel that is a simulation of what the staircase was thought to look like prior to the handrails being installed.

Below is a contemporary photo of the staircase.  Whether myth or miracle, it is truly magnificent carpentry.
